Beat Cabin Fever
Last weekend, my kids were getting stir crazy and we needed to get out of the house. We’d been taking walks around the neighborhood, but we needed something different to break up the monotony and avoid falling prey to cabin fever.
I considered some of the options available:
- go to the movie theater
- enjoy a game of bowling
- spend a few hours at the ice rink or roller rink
- explore one of Jackson County’s nature centers
My monthly budget answered the question for me – we needed something free to do, so a trip to the Dahlem Center won. In fact, we not only visited on Saturday, but they enjoyed it so much, we headed back on Sunday as well!
