- A new program launched by the Jackson Police Department will give caregivers peace of mind that a missing loved one can be quickly identified and safely brought home. The newly-created Take Me Home Program is designed to help missing people with Autism, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Down Syndrome, or any other condition that makes it difficult to communicate.
- Activities Recovery Empowerment (ARE) Inc. is a member-run mental health organization providing drop-in and peer support services in Jackson and Hillsdale Counties. They recently received a grant from Consumers Energy to improve transportation safety for vulnerable clientele.
